tania & juan

Tania Rivas asked her friend Juan Correa to collaborate on a song a week for self help radio back in 2014. Both being of Colombian descent, they decided to approach music writing from that perspective and also with the intent of making the listener want to dance or have a joyful experience whilst listening to organically produced sounds like handclaps and noises made with found objects. After the first song was written and recorded within 4 hours in Juan’s living room, it was clear they were ready to write more original songs together.

11 songs later, the album “guayaba” can be found on youtube, itunes, bandcamp, and spotify.
